Last meeting of Year 9
As so often happens at the last meeting of the year, we were few in number, but what a great time we had! We loved Facetiming with our author of the month and hearing how Agnes and her friends came to life! Thank you Carol Guthrie Heilman for "meeting" with us tonight! We so enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to Penny for hosting and as usual the food was great! Enjoy your summer and I look forward to Year 10!!! See you in August!

What an enjoyable evening we had tonight at the "Smith Estate"!! Seriously it was a beautiful evening at a beautiful place and the discussion of a precious story (to quote our hostess!) was so good! If you wanted someone you know to read this book, how would you describe it?
Minka was a strong girl/woman. What do you think made her strong?
What qualities did she exhibit that you would like to emulate?
